Kay Lorraine Zink Ellefson 79 , of Pahrump, Nevada , passed away on January 20, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Visitation will be 12:00 pm Tuesday January 3 1, 2023 at Palm Eastern Mortuary , 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm with Father Dave Casaleggio of the Diocese of Las Vegas, officiating. Burial will follow services. Kay was born in Hollywood, California to Elizabeth (Betty) Lorraine Mulcahy Zink and Guy Raymond Zink Jr. on August 20, 1943. She married Glen Paul Ellefson on March 17, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kay is preceded in death by her parents Betty and Guy Zink Jr., her great-grandson Michael Steven Parker and her son, Eric Raymond Ellefson. Kay is survived by her husband Glen Ellefson Sr., her brother Guy Zink III, her son Glen Ellefson Jr. (Marlena Ellefson), her grandchildren, Crystal Ellefson, Brittany Gell (Tommy Gell), Brittany Parker (Tim Parker), Alexa Ellefson, Stephanie Ross, Natalie Branson (Damon Branson), Rachel Loveall, Austin Ross (Nicky Chung), and Glen Ellefson III (Kiley Ellefson) and her great-grandchildren, Payton Chambers, Kayleighna Gell, Sophia Ellefson, Jarren Valenzuela, Wyatt Loveall, Kaydance Gell, Alan Parker, Vinnie Valenzuela, Bentley Chambers, Caroline Haselton-Ross, Wyatt Branson and Amryn Ellefson. Pallbearers will be Glen Ellefson Jr., Glen Ellefson III, Brenden McKay, Aiden McKay. The family of Kay wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dignified Care Manor, (Lee was an amazing and compassionate caregiver for Kay her entire residency there), Compassion Care Hospice (Amy and Lisa were so helpful and comforting to us all), and to Cheryl, Kay’s wonderful primary care provider.
