It is with great sadness that the family of Larry James Korbein announces his passing on May 10, 2018, age 64, following a brief illness. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Pamela and his children Jeanette and Brian; his mother Mary Ann Korbein; his five sisters; and five brothers- and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elden Korbein; son-in-law Mark Howell; and brother-in-law Jeffery Sieggreen.
He was born February 3, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High school in 1972 and began his career as a mechanic. He married Pamela Kay Sieggreen on July 5, 1975. They relocated to Skokie, IL in 1980 and started a family.
Larry was employed by Timber Lanes until May 2016 when he retired and moved with his wife to Las Vegas.
Larry loved to fish and hunt with his son Brian. He also enjoyed spending time with his grand-dogs, Mojo and Lucy.
Surviving besides his wife Pamela, are one daughter Jeanette Korbein Howell, Las Vegas and one son Brian Korbein, Northlake, Illinois; sisters and their spouses, Vicki (Michael) Mikolajski, Saginaw; Dian (Michael) Dillon, Elkart, Indiana; Tracy (Chris) DeShone, Saginaw; Kelly Rodgers, Port Orchard, Washington; Holly (Steven) Frieders, Bay City, Michigan; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Larry Sieggreen, Newberry and Mark (Mary) Sieggreen, Saginaw; sisters-in-law, Renee Sieggreen, Midland, Dawn (Ron) Pool, Saginaw, and Cindy (Marc) Fitzgerald, Freeland.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway, Saginaw, Michigan 48638 on June 21, 2018, at 10:00am officiated by Pastor Paul Biber.
