Mrs. Leocadia B. Bacero

Mrs. Leocadia Bendico Bacero, 94, of Henderson Nevada joined her creator on March 7, 2023. She was born in Daga, Panay Capiz, Philippines on September 30, 1928, as the youngest child of Juana Billanes and Hilarion Bendico. Mrs. Leocadia Bendico Bacero married Pacifico Duarte Bacero of Cotabato City. She taught Math, Music, and English at elementary grade in South Cotabato until her retirement in 1990.

Mrs. Leocadia Bendico Bacero is survived by her children, Victoria, Cecilia, Vitaliana, Epifania, Leah and Joseph; son-in-laws, Ramon, Ray and Roland; daughter-in-law, Marianne; grandchildren, Lila, Raymond, Nikki, Lianne, David, Lourdes, Gina, Rita, Hannah, Ariel, Ej, Sean, Jaden, Kim, Thea, Joselle and Justin along with multiple nephews, nieces, cousins and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her spouse Pacifico Bacero (May 8, 1976) and her children: Rosela (2015), Nimrod (1978) and Sofia (1962).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 5:00-9:00 pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89123). Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (130 N Pecos Rd, Henderson, NV 89074) with interment to follow at Palm Eastern Cemetery (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89123). Luncheon will take place at 11:30 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (130 N Pecos Rd, Henderson, NV 89074).

The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Fr. Edmond, Fr Jess Cortes, Legion of Mary and our cousins and friends.

Mrs. Leocadia Bendico Bacero loved the Blessed Mother until the end of her journey.
