Leonard J. Gass

Leonard Joseph Gass, age 88, of North Las Vegas, Nevada passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Leonard was born in Woods, Oregon to Mathias and Agatha Gass. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patricia; four sons Kevin, Steven, Kelly and Sean; brother Maurice; and sister Roberta. Leonard is survived by his second wife Luz; daughters Linda, and Lisa (Robert); son Scott (Andrea); sisters Jean and Marlene; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Leonard proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a MSGT in Las Vegas. He then embarked on a career with Arby's Restaurants where he was employed for 40 years before retiring at 80 years of age.

Leonard was a devout Catholic, a member of KOC, and attended St. Christopher's Catholic Church since 1975 where he served as an usher, and ministered, along with his wife Luz, to the homebound. He generously donated and participated in many worthy causes and activities, including Catholic Charities and the Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held on April 2, from 5-8 PM at Palm Eastern 7600 South Eastern, Las Vegas 89123. Funeral services will be held on April 3, at 9:30 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church 1840 North Bruce Street, North Las Vegas 89030. Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Palm Eastern.
