I was lifelong friends with Lillian's late brother, Isaac, whom I met in 6th grade. I remained close to Isaac until a few years before his death, when we lost touch with eachother. 

I remember Lillian fondly from my time hanging out with Isaac as a child, as well as his childhood nickname for her, which was "Buster," due to her having a tantrum once as a toddler in wanting a oretty pair of Buster Brown shoes.  I remember how social, happy and outgoing she was, including at her Bat Mitzvah, which I attended and had a great time at.

My condolences to Lillian's son and her mother, who have suffered greatly the past few years with this, and other close family losses. May G_d give her strength in caring for Lillian's son.
