Louis N. Simkins, 68, passed away March 29, 2012. Lou was born in Atlantic City, N.J., but was a resident of Las Vegas for the past 35 years. He was a successful retail souvenir business owner. He was preceded in death by his first wife, of 40 years, Ruby. Lou is survived by his daughters, Michele and Kimberly; his sons-in-law, Vince and Todd; by his grandchildren, Alexa, Brandon, Vincent Jr. and Jordyn; by his brother, Paul; sisters, Madeline and Loretta; and his wifey, Joyce; and finally, by his faithful cat, Sam. Visitation will be at 3-7 p.m. Thursday, April 5. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 6, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside service following, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
