She was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1943 to Herman Isaac Weaver and Opal Hurla Cobb (Hanon). Lynnette enjoyed growing up in California and frequented the beach, although she also enjoyed visiting family on the farm in Missouri where her parents were from. She graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1960 and went on to have a long and successful career at Teledyne where she would eventually meet her loving husband, Frank (Francis). They were married in a whirlwind ceremony in Las Vegas in 1978.
Lynnette was a mother to 2 boys, Robert and Jeffery, but with the untimely passing of her sister she would also go on to help raise her 2 nephews, Donald and Daniel. She also played a key role in raising her granddaughter, Kallie, throughout her life.
Anyone that knew Lynnette can testify to her vibrant and welcoming spirit and knew her door was always open. She was also a force to be reckoned with and had an inspiring independence about her.
Lynnette always enjoyed traveling (her and Frank had visited every continent except Antarctica), music (Elvis was her favorite), dancing, shopping, and spending time playing the slots at the casinos! She also loved doting on her favorite canine companion, Sheila, who is still with us at age 17.
Lynnette was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Sutschek, her mother, Opal Hanon, her sister, Shirley Weaver, her son, Robert Street, and other beloved family members. She is survived by her son Jeffery Street, her granddaughter Kallie Tapie (Brandon), great-grandchildren Lillian and William Tapie, her niece Jean Fischer, who selflessly took on the role of Lynne’s guardian during her last years, and many other cherished nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is being held January 20, 2024 at 5pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary in Las Vegas, NV. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Lynnette.
