Manuel Garcia Flores

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel Garcia Flores, who passed away December 1, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by his family. Manuel was born June 26,1942 in Tuxtuac, Villanueva, Zacatecas Mexico.

Manuel was a hardworking man, and a great father even though he lost his father at age 2. He came to work in the USA in his 20’s as a contracted laborer picking fruit in California. He also worked for a trash company in Santa Monica California, then at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). He moved to Kansas where he worked for Tony’s Pizza for 17 years, before retiring and moving to Las Vegas.

Manuel enjoyed watching baseball, going to the games and was a Los Angeles Dodgers fan. He loved to go out to eat with his family. He enjoyed his time with his sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, brothers, sister, cousins, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a contagious smile and was a big jokester.

Manuel is survived by his spouse Catalina Garcia Barajas; sons Miguel, Simon, Alvaro, Jose and Ricardo; daughters Maria (Cuca) and Maria Vasquez Garcia; grandchildren Miguel Angel, Michelle, Joanne, Natalie, Marie, Jonathan, Andrew, Luis Manuel, Cassandra, Yessica, Vanity, Ricardo Jr, Alyssa, Elly, Kayla, Alex, Ana, Isabelle, Laila, Simon Jr, Selena, Stella and Samantha; and great-grandchildren Abigail, Jaylene, Caitlyn, Aiden, Jaime, Tepo, Avery, Giavanna, Julianna, Jackson, Lillian and Dominic.

Manuel was preceded in death by his son Pascual Garcia; brother Jose Ezequiel Garcia; sisters Maria Luisa Gamez Garcia and Juana Alvarez; mother Maria Flores and father Luis Garcia Guzman.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2:00 – 6:00pm followed by a service from 6:00 – 7:00pm. All services will be held at Palm Mortuary & Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

The way you taught us to share what we have, no matter how much or how little we have to give, but giving with our hearts, a trait we cannot forget, thank you and rest for now.
