Marco was born April 14, 1973 in Manila, Philippines. He and his family immigrated to the United States when he was 11-years old in hopes of living out their shared dreams in the land of promise. Being the fun-loving person that he is, he was loved by many and enjoyed being with his friends. Though a man of few words, he had an infectious personality which made it easy to want to be around him. He was blessed with the gift of music, being able to play the piano by ear and numerous other instruments. He used this gift to worship the Lord as worship leader throughout his spiritual walk. He also was a DJ and used this talent to share in the joy of others during special moments in their lives. Marco loved working with his hands, loved gadgets, technology, sport bikes, movies and food. He had aspirations of becoming a nurse and wanted to specialize in nephrology to be able to help others through the same challenges he faced in his own personal health.
In 1995, he found his soul mate & partner for life, Rina, and they married in 1997 in Chicago, IL. Their story is one for novels with the thrill of pursuit, peaks and valleys, laughter & heartache, trials and victories, loss and abundant blessings; but overall...love. He fought the good fight and continued to believe even when it was difficult. He had a strong spirit, an undying faith, patience of a saint and loved unconditionally.
His reward is in heaven as he walks on streets of gold. John 14:1-2
