Margaret Louise Burdett

Burdett, Margaret Louise (Snitzmier), 83, entered eternal life Wednesday, March 8, 2016. Margaret was born in Independence, Missouri on July 19, 1932 to Francis and Mary (Hockery) Snitzmier. She graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School in Kansas City, Missouri as a Registered Nurse. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her grandchildren meant everything to her and she loved spending time with Porter Burdett and Jakob Burdett. She was the cornerstone of our family and will be dearly missed every day.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Burdett Jr.; parents, Frances and Mary Snitzmier; brother, Joseph Snitzmier; sisters, Mary Ellen LaFever and Barbara O’Flaherty.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Jean Ann Burdett; sons, James J. Burdett, David C. Burdett, and Stephen C. Burdett, all of Henderson, Nevada; granddaughter, Porter Burdett and grandson, Jakob Burdett, both from Lawrence, Kansas.

All the best to the Staff at Prestige Assisted Living in Henderson, Nevada…Rhonda, Dee, Dominique, Allie and all the staff were Angels from Heaven and worked diligently on Mom’s behalf. We couldn’t have survived this time without you!

Graveside services are tentatively scheduled for April 15, 2016 at Sunland Cemetery, Peoria, Arizona within the Veterans Cemetery. Services will be held at 1:00 pm.
