Mari Little Kleinman, 88, a retired music, speech and drama teacher of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012. Mari was born January 27, 1924 in Rochester, Minnesota, and was a resident of Nevada since 1947. She was past president of the Cactus and Succulent Society of Southern Nevada and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mari was preceded in death by her husband, Sol Kleinman; sisters, Katherine Little and Margaret Little; and brother, Kendall Little. She is survived by her son, Paul Kleinman; daughters, Katie (Robert) Mackin and Laura (Charles) Shugars; granddaughters, Casey Mackin and Carly (John) Lee; grandson, Ryan Shugars; and sister, Jane Lundquist.
Family and friends will be gathering at 3 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 with memorial services following at 4 p.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Donations may be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
