Maria E. Palispis, 88, a longtime resident of Las Vegas passed away November 23, 2019 at Sunrise Hospital. She was born July 24, 1931 in Basey, Samar Philippines, to Vicente and Consolacion Escobar. She found her soulmate and longtime partner for life at 23 when she married Frankie Palispis of Siaton Negros Oriental Philippines. She moved from the Philippines to the United States in 1990 and worked at Hotel San Remo until retirement. Maria was religious, kind hearted, generous, loved good food and socializing with friends and family. She is survived by daughter, Irene, sons Wilfredo, Roy and Francisco Jr, grandsons Ivan and Ian. Granddaughters’ Maita and Gabby, all whom live in Las Vegas and brought joy to her later years. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on December 8, 2019 at Palm Eastern Mortuary followed by a Catholic Service at 12:00 pm and final interment at 1:00 pm.
