

Marie was born on October 1, 1932 in Queens, NY. She moved to California in 1955 where she lived in Culver City for a short time before moving to Hawthorne. Years later she moved to Fountain Valley and lived there for many years before making her final home in Henderson, Nevada. While living in California, she worked at Northrop Grumman as a keypunch operator for 10 years. She worked in a few different casinos as a waitress, cashier and concierge. One of her favorite jobs was working as a reservationist for the helicopter tours in Las Vegas. Her many interests were paying keno, poker, bingo, Mexican train game and coloring. She loved living at the Horizon Pines apartments where she had many wonderful friends and was in charge of many of the games played in the recreation room.
Marie is survived by five children, Ronnie from Moreno Valley, California, Geralyn from Henderson, Nevada, Debbie from Westminster, California, Billy from Las Vegas, Nevada and Kenny from Las Vegas, Nevada. Marie is also survived by one sister Carol Gross and one brother Phil Scime who both currently reside in Las Vegas. There are five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and loved her faith in her church.
