Marisa was one of the kindest souls I have ever met, she always had some words of encouragement or praise for anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be so sorely missed. Prayers for her family on a most difficult time. ❀️

Jim, Bella and Brendan, we are very saddened by our loss. Marisa was the glue that kept us connected. She was quite the trooper in every stage of her life. All the while her signature red lipstick was on point. She loved and loved life and relished in hearing stories about her relatives while living in the Phillipines. A huge virtual hug going out your way! There aren't enough words to express the magnitude of your loss! Love you all!

I had the blessing of know Marisa through our children PTO functions. We would put in countless hours in making school functions happen, in hopes of our children having fun and make memoires. From dances, family/art nights, Christmas and Halloween festivals! We would work into the late evenings together. Marisa always had something funny to say when we would feel defeated and exhausted. She would often say "This is the last time I'm ever going to do something like this!", as she smiled and shook her head. We would laugh at her and say "you know you'll be back for the next one", and she always was! As a mom and someone who worked at the school, I often see Marisa there with her two kids and husband. She never looked mad, never seemed frustrated, but just going about her day. She was a good woman and a great mom.
Thank you for the memory's you've given me!

I was always amazed at how Marisa dealt with her medical condition. Despite the difficulty and pain, she managed to stay strong, be joyful and be happy. She exudes this light that no one ever did. She made suffering so easy and so bearable.

We will miss your light here Marisa. And may you continue to shine brighter up there guiding your family and all of us to remind us that no matter how difficult life is, there is always hope and there is always a reason to smile and be happy.

We love you and you will truly be missed!

Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal
There will be things that trigger tears, and things that bring laughter.....things that you never expected .....but they'll gently remind you of all the wonderful memories Marisa put in your lives.
Our love and prayers are surrounding all of you.
