Mark C. Zirzow Jr., 52, of Las Vegas, Nevada, known as "M.C." to his friends and family, died on December 24, 2024 in Las Vegas, after a battle with a severe lung infection and heart issues. He was born on December 24, 1972 to Mark Sr. and Susan Zirzow in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, before moving to South Florida during high school. M.C. graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina, and after living outside of Philadelphia for a few years, later moved to Las Vegas to be closer to family.
M.C. was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan, and loved to watch the games with his family at Buffalo Wild Wings every week. He was also a devout Catholic and attended Traditional Latin (Tridentine) Mass every Sunday. M.C. worked most of his adult life as a security guard, often working nights, as he found that most peaceful. M.C. was an incredibly honest, disciplined, and proud person, and would never miss a day of work, or sending a birthday card to everyone he knew.
M.C. is survived by his father Mark, his brother Matthew, sister-in-law Jennifer, and many loving cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his mother Susan.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to one of M.C.'s favorite churches in his memory: St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 131 N. 9th Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101 (https://stjosephscatholicchurchlv.yolasite.com/), or Our Lady of Victory Traditional Catholic Church, 1575 E.
