Martha Jane Williams [née Speed], 80, of Detroit, MI, died on October, 7, 2023 in Henderson, NV. She was born in Detroit to John and Althea Speed. Martha attended Cooley High School in Detroit, graduating in 1961.
Martha married Edward Williams in 1962 in Detroit, MI. Their first child, Laurie, was born in 1963. Later, in 1974, their second child Brian was born.
Martha's first grandchild, Laurie's daughter, Germaine was born in 1992. Martha gained two more grandchildren, Ryan and Taryn, when son Brian married. Her fourth and final grandchild, Mara, was born in 2012.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, John and Althea Speed. She is survived by her husband, Edward Williams, children, Laurie Mazariegos and Brian Williams, grandchildren, Germaine Koziarski, Mara Williams, Ryan Brown, and Taryn Brown, and sister, Anne Park-Huber.
A graveside service for Martha will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
