I regret not being able to shake his hands many years ago at ADAS, I was star truck not expecting and knowing I’d ever see such a man of vision and humility up close and personal 😱. Nothing short of 🦋 prevented me… had I known 🥹😢

Even from afar and through the social media and in so short a time, I know we 🇵🇭 have lost a gem!

Our sincerest condolences,...from the Tuason clanship here in Naga City, Cam.Sur, Bicol Region V...,God Almighty Father Bless our Clan!....

Dear Martin,

These past two weeks have truly led me to take a different position in how I view life. You have always had this effect—not only personally, but also throughout our professional journey.

During the last 15 years of our adventure in the U.S., within the industry we managed to establish ourselves in, you have always been a role model in creating energy and motivation. At a very young age, and together with your young team, you have achieved remarkable success. Your energy has never run out, my friend.

I am sure you will not stay idle over there either, and you will continue to set an example. And one day, when we make it there too, you will be among the very first people I call! I am sure you will definitely be on the right path, overthere as well my friend.

You are one of those friends who will never be forgotten. Wishing you all the best, always.

Condolence to the whole family. I only see Martin when I do home service to do their nails. It started when he was younger and still single . He was genuinely nice and caring. He made sure to be on time when its time for his appointment. I love you Martin! May your soul rest in eternal peace. 🙏❤️🙏

Man Martin this is when I first met you Back in 2011 at NRA. We had a great conversation and we became friends at that point. I’m so going to miss you bro.

Mart was a pillar and rock in our family. we counted on him. we trusted him. we relied on him. we loved him. He was and remains, the best of men. He took care of everyone that was in his life; family, friends, and his Armscor family. He always went out of his way to get us all together . He loved for us to be together and always made the effort and took on the organizing. Mart was someone I watched closely to learn how to be a good man, and a good husband. I admired and loved him, and was grateful and could rest in the certainty that he loved my sister so fiercely.

Mart was and is a proud Filipino. He loved his County, and loved the USA. He loved his work. It was his passion. He loved to create new products, make new partnerships, and grow responsible gun ownership. I loved to hear his stories of what he was up to. I loved to talk to him about fitness stuff and politics. I came to rely and value his perspective on so many things.

Death, Evil and Suffering I know in my soul to be incongruous and dissonant with Life, Good, and Happiness. It should not be this way.

Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me shall live, even though they die.

I believe that and so did Mart and so does his family who loves him.

A catastrophe is a sudden disastrous turn of events . That is what losing Mart for our family and so many people who love him.

But there is another word.

Eucatastrophe

it is “A sudden, joyous turn in a story — a miraculous good ending that resolves despair into hope.”

It is a God who knows all ends, and has accounted for everything. It is Jesus Christ risen from the dead and the promise of eternal life. It is our faith and our hope.

“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater”

Martin is in the safe loving arms of the Lord. May he rest in peace and bring his family to that same peace.

Martin was a leader in every action, every decision, he was Martin and he was Armscor and Rock Island Armory. He could walk into a room and share his ideas and give direction all in one sentence. His employees respected him and worked hard to make the business successful for both Martin and the family.

You will be remembered daily in this building, in every gun we build, every project we partake in, every decision we make, and we will continue to strive for the success you expected.

God bless Tammy, Lisa, Caloy, Mr. and Mrs. Tuason and all family members. Martin has placed a "Legion of Angels" around you to protect you and keep you safe".

Thank you, Martin for the light you shed on all of us.

Martin was my first start in the gun industry. He was a boss and a friend. My fav memory was when he showed me his holster with butterfly sticker on it. He lit up talking about her doing it and was proud to carry the holster (the smile in pic says it all). I had an idea and 3i holster put it into action ,knowing the old holster was getting old and worn A butterfly holster was made for Martin and given to him for a holiday, although he had no clue I sent it he found out later I was behind it and I remember him saying when he found out it was me , that he will never replace the orig holster because his little angel spruced it up. The Smile on his face talking about his daughter was very heart warming, this was how Martin was and it was very inspiring how much he loved Tammy and his kids and lit up when he talked about them. There are many other memories but that was my fav. Martin will be missed by everyone he has encountered..

Martin was a great mentor, he gave everyone an opportunity even when others would shut doors.
He would help in any capacity especially to make the world a better place.
His heart, soul, and love was beyond measure.
I will always cherish and hold dear our interactions over the years.

Maybe this event will be the last our photo with you. But your memories always kept in our ♥️

These words are difficult to write as I am still reeling from hearing the news.

I am a better man because I know Martin. We help run the Official Rock Island group on Facebook. When I asked Martin if I could call it the "Official" Page, he did not hesitate because he trusted us with the company information. Most people of his stature would not have bothered.

Back in 2015 he invited me to visit the factory. I enjoyed the visit very much. He was the most sincere and kind person during my visit and treated me with more respect that I deserved.

I am so thankful for knowing you Martin and your whole family. I am so sorry that I cant make just one more visit with you through our friendship.

My family through my wife lives in Pampanga and we were so blessed that Martin would take the time to allow my nephew Mark to tag along for our personal visit with Martin at the factory.

There will be no other like him. While we deeply mourn, heaven truly rejoices.

We love you all.

God's blessing upon this family and all who see this. I never met Martin in person, we corresponded a few times via Facebook, during which he was cordial, attentive and intelligently answered questions quickly or promised to get information and get back, which he did. He made you feel important simply by paying attention to your concerns. 51 years was not enough for one of God's servants and a brilliant businessman.

To the family, your father touched people all over the world. Not just dignitaries and business leaders. Ordinary people who who gave the same respect he would to any contemporary. He embodied Christ and gave of himself with a servant's heart.

We are diminished by his loss.

Dear Tammy, Olivia and James,
Our heartfelt sympathies to your family. I was so touched by the message sent to you by Isa Valles, entitled The Cross. Specially mind enlightening for someone like me who feared the Cross because it meant emotional suffering. Isa's message made me love the Cross.
Maybe you understood it better as told. Christ is carving for each one of us because He cares for us unconditionally. Praying that , as Martin, has left a void in your depths, at the same time, be happy for him because I truly believe he is in a better place. Love, tita dulee and family

He will be missed. A true innovator and visionary. The world is dimmer without him.

Martin, my brother! Your passing was an absolute shock to hear. We go waaay back to childhood and to our kalokohan days in Manila and eventually to L.A. where we all learned how to work our tails off and make our bones while balancing friendships and relationships. Endless repeated meals at our favorite spot Versailles with Marco, Dina, Samantha, Manu and the rest of the L.A. crew. We miss you, we will always miss you. We all looked up to you, your calm demeanor and your ability to be emotionally intelligent when most people would lose their cool. Ever since we were young at the Roxy near IS Manila, you protected everyone in your circle. God is your protector now brother and I know you will be looking out for all of us from above. Rest in Peace Martin.

It was always fun to share a cocktail and dinner with Martin and Bolo, so may times over the last many, many years. Martin was a down to earth guy that you could trust whatever he told you. Easy to get along with socially and straight forward and honest as a businessman.
He will be sorely missed by my family and team here at Lipsey's and by the entire shooting industry.
WE love you Martin.
Cheers,
Richard Lipsey

Rest in peace Martin. You will be missed greatly. Best to your family and friends who will carry on your memory.

Rest in Peace; knowing that your visions & contributions will always be part of history.
