Mary was an active member of her community, working with several charity organizations over the last 20 years. She loved to knit and crochet, and was an avid reader.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, of 36 years, Sam; parents, Joseph and Nellie; and brother, Donald. She is survived by her children, Stephen (Denise), Deborah (Jerry), Tammy (Robert) and Kenneth; brother, Richard; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at noon Sunday, Feb. 3, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
