Matilda (Tillie) Santacroce, age 89, went to be with her Father in heaven and join her beloved husband Sheriff Joseph J. Santacroce, on August 9, 2019. Tillie is survived by her children Joseph Santacroce, Dulce Santacroce, Loretta Hellrung, and Barbara Santacroce; grandchildren, Joseph Donato, Victoria Donato, Toni Zix, Alessandro Salvato, and great grandchildren, Damian Donato, Joseph Zix
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church - 9:00 AM to 10:30 am, St. Clare & St. Anthony’s room and Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
Followed by private internment with her family.
Tillie loved to quilt, knit, sew, crochet and love on everyone she met. In her day she made the best tomato sauce and meatballs around - her cooking is world famous - literally!
Family meant everything to Tillie and she was known for giving the biggest, warmest hugs of all times.
Heaven is a little more heavenly today, now that Tillie is there……God must have needed a good Italian meal and a new handmade quilt!
