Dr. Maximo Naval Faraon, DMD son of the late Dr. Leoncio Espinosa Faraon, DDS and Francisca Villafuerte Naval was born on May 29, 1946 in Laguna, Philippines. He attended De Ocampo College where he graduated with the degree of Doctor of Medical Dentistry. He was a practicing dentist in Manila until he moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2005.
He was a regular churchgoer, attending mass every Sunday until he suffered a stroke in 2002 and traveling to church became difficult. Still strong in his faith, he started watching televised mass on Sundays as his way of attending from home. At his bedside there was always a picture of his parents and a picture of Jesus. He loved to play chess and was a big boxing fan. His favorite boxer was Manny Pacquiao. He also loved to spend his time watching Animal Planet or his favorite filipino TV show, Ang Probinsyano. As a man of habit, every morning consisted of coffee and bread but lunch and dinner was reserved for his favorites: roasted duck, oysters, lechon, balut, durian, and lugaw. His greatest joys were watching his kids grow up and having families of their own. He was devoted to helping raise his grandchildren and watching them do the things they loved like dancing and playing games.
His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Anna Tiomico and Melissa Maravilla of CA, Adonis Faraon and Angelica Faraon Salvador of Novaliches, Philippines, Celyn Guardian, Evangeline Faraon, Jacqueline Faraon, and Maximo Faraon Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Ty, Kevin, Ceirine, and Serenity; brother, Ramon Faraon; sisters, Lorna Dorman, Elvie Leonard, Lucy Sarles, Lydia Faraon, and Sonia Maligaya; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
