Mel Barlin, 68, of Henderson, NV, a Long Term Care Insurance broker, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014. He was born on June 27, 1945 in New York, New York to Martin and Irene Barlin. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elaine of Henderson; daughter, Dara Barlin of New York, NY; two sons, Ron (Amy) of Bloomington, IL and Dave (Chau) of New Castle, WA; and four grandchildren, Edie, Vera, Zoey and Bryce. It would be an understatement to say that Mel brought love, joy and laughter to all that knew him. We could not love him any more even if he were triplets. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at King David Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 9:30AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Cedar Lawns Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Redmond, WA. Family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
