Dear family and friends of Mel,

Our sincere condolences in this time of sorrow. We remember John and Jeannette's visit in 1974 and the warm welcome when I visited the family in 1980.

Mel's legacy will continue through his children and grandchildren. May his memory be a blessing,

With deepest sorrow,

On behalf of the Sloan family
