Miahdel Fevie Moralde Urboda, aka “Em-em”, 23-years old, resided in Las Vegas, Nevada since 2008 from Atlanta, Georgia. She passed away early dawn on Friday, November 15, 2013 at her parents’ home. Em-em was born in Calbayog, Philippines on February 2, 1990. She came to the USA in 2001 with her father and sister to join her mother who came a year earlier. She continued her elementary years at Murphy Adventist Christian School NC and graduated as a class president. She then went on to Forest Lake Academy in Florida for her high school years and graduated in 2008. She was in college for a year, 2008-2009, at Southern Adventist University in TN and was not able to go back to school due to multiple surgeries starting in 2010. Her dream was to become a successful pharmacist but life didn’t allow her to pursue. Em-em was diagnosed with a very rare type of tumor when she was 10-years old. This tumor was called chordoma, which is located at the base of her skull and the growth was extending towards her brain. She had radiation and multiple surgeries done. God spared her life so many times, and even extended it for some years, which gave us more time to show how much we cared and loved her up to her last breath. Em loved to bake during her spare time and enjoyed playing sacred songs on the piano. She was a little bit shy, but if you were her friend, she was the best. She was a tough person, prayerful, and God-fearing. She was brave, patient, and courageous as well. She is survived by her parents Jeremiah Urboda and Delia Moralde-Urboda; her only sister Dyan Jede; and her grandmother Gaudiosa Urboda. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Palm Eastern Mortuary. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
