Michael Angelo Jr., 46, of Las Vegas, passed away Feb. 11, 2011. He was born Sept. 11, 1964, in Portsmsouth, Va., and was a resident of Nevada since 1976. Michael served in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Gulf War and retired after 22 years of military service. He was a delivery driver for United Parcel Service, a member of the National Rifle Association and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Michael is survived by his wife, Kristi Berning-Angelo; daughter, Amber and Ashleigh Angelo; son, Mason Angelo; father, Michael Angelo Sr., all of Las Vegas; sisters, Phyllis Angelo of Oklahoma, and Debora (Brian) Berk of Las Vegas; brother, Christopher (Gerri) Angelo of Las Vegas; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Angela Angelo-Newcomer of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
