

Michael David Carlat, 68, passed away on May 26, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on September 16, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York.
Michael had a passion for horse racing and was proud to have competed in the sport he loved. One of his greatest accomplishments was having a horse who was a triple crown contender by winning the Lane’s End Stakes, an achievement that brought him tremendous pride and joy. His love for horses was lifelong and reflected his competitive spirit and determination.
He also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including good food and spending time with those he loved. One of his greatest joys was watching his daughter Julianne play volleyball, cheering her on with pride and enthusiasm.
Michael was a man who cherished his family above all else. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Jack and Roslyn Carlat.
He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Julianne and Carolina, his sister Patti and his brother Larry, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his passions, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113, on June 5, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.
