Michael J. Mann, age 64, of Las Vegas, died on March 19, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1957 in San Fernando, California and had lived in Las Vegas for the last eight years. Mr. Mann worked as director of ride engineering for The Stratosphere. He enjoyed the outdoors: riding motorcycles, the beach, surfing and playing golf. He was a very caring person, making friends wherever he went, both in the United States and worldwide. He was preceded in death his sister, Ruth; and brother, Jim. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Katia; four children, Shannon (Nate) Marks, Kristen (Nick) Smith, Gerilyn (Sean) Holm, and Samantha Mann; and five grandchildren, Elijah, A.J., Oliver, Adeline, and Isaiah. Private family services are being planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael’s name are requested to the American Cancer Society.
