Michael Albert Novelli

Michael Novelli, 80, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on April 1, 2021. He was born on August 13, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Umberto Novelli and Ines Denesi.

He spent most of his life in River Grove and Franklin Park, Illinois. He worked as a barber for 40 years. He worked at other jobs finishing his career at Mandalay Bay.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: twin brother Marco (Marlene), Mario (Shirley), Mary (Leo), and Marcella.

He is survived by his wife Cathy; son Michael (Melissa); and daughter Andrea (Ronnie).

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Chicago Cursillo or Pro Life Organization.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 9:00am; a funeral service will be held at 10:00am followed by burial at 11:30am. All services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in Henderson, Nevada.

It’s with much sadness to learn of Uncle Mikes passing. GOD WILL strengthen your lives to carry on
In life knowing that Mike is not suffering in pain any longer. Cherish every memory & hold them in your hearts forever. I will never forget him nor the early family memories of all off us at our children’s little league games And all our holidays together. He was always my friend & put laughter in my life at a time when I needed it most. He cared about my sons as well. Be strong Cathy. U are a fighter. As GOD has let Uncle Mike into heavens gates, he is looking down at each of you w luv. He’s not in pain any longer.

Rest In Peace Mike. May God bless your wife Cathy and your son and daughter during this time of grieving. Mike was a wonderful neighbor and the first person to befriend me and my dog in our Castle Rock Estates community. Grateful that his pain and suffering has ended and his is with God now. Grateful to have met him and known him and Cathy. May God rest his soul.
