Michael J. Weber, 45, born November 13, 1973 in Buffalo, New York, passed away March 22, 2019 at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada with his family by his side. He was prepared to fight his disease, but it progressed too quickly. He loved us, and he did not want to leave us.
Michael is survived by three children, Maxwell Weber (Las Vegas, Nevada) from second wife Heather Samples, and Justine Weber and Cheyanne Weber (Whitmore Lake, Michigan) from first wife Julie Jaworski, as well his mother, Christine L. Bellafaire, his brother, Timothy Weber, and his nephew, Nicholas Weber, all of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is predeceased by his father, David L Weber of Pennsylvania, and his step-father, James F. Bellafaire of Waterford, Michigan.
From an early age, Michael loved to cook, ultimately spending nearly 30 years in the culinary profession. His family moved to Troy, Michigan in 1984 and Michael ultimately moved to Las Vegas in 2007. At the time of his death, he was employed as a Master Cook at “Fix” at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
Michael was an amazing, caring and true friend, always brightening someone’s day by making them smile and laugh with his quick wit. Some of his last posts to his family and friends were, “We only die once, we live every day” and “Stop worrying about pointless stuff”, as he knew that his battle was coming to an end. He will be sorely missed by his loving family and his wide circle of friends as we are left to cherish his memory, celebrate his life, and grieve for a life cut too short.
