Michelle Denise Oasay

She was on born November 16, 1969 in Honolulu, HI to Peter and Virginia Oasay. She found her soul mate in Steve Gorski of Henderson, NV ten years ago.

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Cal Poly Pomona in 1991. Michelle entered the computer electronics industry working for Merisel and PC Mall. Michelle worked her way up to a director at PC Mall.

After surviving ovarian cancer, Michelle decided on a career change that included her love of flowers. Michelle started her own company named Pacific Blue Floral, which drew the attention of the MGM organization. In 2012, she joined MGM Resorts Event Productions. In 2014, Michelle was named MGM Employee of the Year…an honor that she greatly cherished.

Michelle loved her family. She was a great cook, an avid runner, loved outdoors from the desert to the ocean. Michelle’s smile and laugh were contagious.

She is survived by her brother Raynard Oasay of Southern California.

A visitation will be held at 8:00 a.m., August 11, 2018 at Palm Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held at noon at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Henderson.

Burial will be in Mililani, Hawaii on September 15, 2018.
