Mickilina "Mickie" M. Pettit passed away on March 3, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born in Rochester New York on August 21, 1927 and has been a resident of Las Vegas for 41 years. She was a beloved homemaker, & friend to all she met. She is preceded in death by six sisters; son-in-law, William P. DeVito; and granddaughter Adeline Marie DeVito. She is survived by her three children, Angie De Vito, Leslie Allan Pettit Jr. (Destin) & partner Roman Peepers, Mark and Laurlei Pettit; grandchildren Debbie De Vito & partner Roger Simmons, Shannon & Noah Mitchell, Sean & Diane Babb, Mark and Jodie Pettit; great-grandchildren Michael and Anthony Busch, Parker and Cooper Babb, great-great grandchildren Kayli and Jace Busch; one brother and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Mickie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We will miss her laugh her smile and the light she beamed when entering any room. Her work on this earth was done and her wings were earned...amongst all the angels. May she rest in paradise, but knowing Mickie she is making everyone in heaven smile.
