Mike Reser, 61, a retired construction director, of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 17, 2011. He was born Oct. 30, 1949, in Kerrville, Texas and was a 28-year resident of Las Vegas. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, J. W. Reser, of Snyder, Okla.; and his brother, Gary Reser, of Las Vegas. He is survived by his mother, Agnes Reser, of Mansfield, Texas; his daughter, Cassandra Reser; sister, Belinda Reser, of Herndon, Va.; his brothers, Robert Reser, of Black Canyon City, Ariz., and Steven Reser, of Arlington, Texas; and his loving partner, Pat Samson. A memorial service will take place 12 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23 at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, with burial at a later date at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
