

She was born August, 15, 1928 in Burksville, Illinois. She met and married the love of her life, Jay Luster, on December 14, 1974.
Millie attended Cerritos College in her early 50's so that she could earn her GED. Millie left high school after 10th grade so she could work as a seamstress to support herself. Because of this, Millie was an accomplished seamstress making a lot of her own beautiful clothing and colorful vests for Jay.
Millie also took painting classes at Cerritos College. She was an artist whose paintings were sold at many events, hung in Banks in Bellflower, CA as well as the homes of her children and grandchildren. One of her favorite places in her home was her painting and sewing studio.
She loved to socialize and throw parties. She was happy when her home was filled with laughter, fun and love.
Millie belonged to a women's card group, quilting group and Bible study in Bear Valley Springs, CA. She made lifelong friends and enjoyed her time with these ladies. More than anything, Millie loved the Lord which was evidenced in the way she lived her life.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Luster; her daughter, Sharon Petz; her sons, Bill and Steve Wolfbrandt; her step-daughter Maryjean Day; and grandchildren, Sundi, Emily, Nicole, Suzanne, Jack, Jimmy and two that preceded her in death, Bill and Stephanie.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM September 26, 2016 at Palm Mortuary on Eastern. Burial will be held on September 27, 2016 at 10:40 AM at the VA Cemetery in Boulder City, NV.
