
Milton Blaustein, the most special man in the world, passed away peacefully March 25, 2011, at the age of 92. Born Dec. 23, 1918, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Morris and Rose Blaustein. Predeceased by his beautiful English wife, Doreen, two siblings, Hank and Florence; and survived by two daughters, Susan Savage of Las Vegas, and Julia (Craig) Berry of Collierville, Tenn.; and his best friend Lucky the little dog. Married 59 years to Doreen, the love of his life, Milton was proud of his daughters and Jewish faith. After moving to Las Vegas in 2005 to live with his daughter, Susan, he embarked on a new adventure that enriched the lives of many with his friendship, wit and intellect. Milton proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He will also be remember for his loyalty of service for over 25 years as a chemical engineer, before retiring from Phillips Petroleum. He was then able to start enjoying his hobbies of fly fishing reading and coaching us all on how to play Black Jack. His legacy will be honored and cherished by so many amazing friends he met along his incredible life. A heartfelt thank you for the devoted, loving support and friendship from the following caring families and friends: Eugene Melnyk, Daniel Flores and family, the Montaleones, JoJo Epstein, the Pascals, the Cloobecks, the Hoffs, the Schorrs, the Foscos and the Wynns. And a special thank you to Irwin and Susie Molasky for making dad's final days so elegant and peaceful. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Nathan Adelson Hospice. Memorial services were previously held at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89120. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
