

Milton Lee Davis, 70, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on May 30, 2013. He was born on January 18, 1943 in Tallulah, Louisiana, to Jerry and Mary Davis. Milton accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age, and attended East Star Missionary Baptist Church. He attended and graduated from Reuben McCall High School and enjoyed fishing and playing golf. In 1963, Milton moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and met Doletta Walker, from that relationship one son was born, Melvin Walker. Later, he met and married Marci Baker, to this union one daughter was born, Melody Davis. Milton was employed at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino as a Culinary Assistant for 33 years until his time of death. He was admired and respected by many of his colleagues. The absence of Milton is greatly felt by all who knew him. Though the soul has left the body, the love and memories will keep him alive in our hearts forever. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Mary Davis, and one brother, Jerry Davis III. He leaves to cherish in his memory daughter Melody Davis and son Melvin Walker both of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters Josie Davis and Teresa Mingo both of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bertha L. Henderson (James) of Los Angeles, California; three aunts Emma South of Los Angeles, California, Mary Sanders of Kansas City Missouri, and Luvenia Norris of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
