Murray Marcus, 86, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a resident of Nevada since 1959. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a retired clinical psychologist. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign wars (VFW), Temple Beth Sholom, and the American Psychological Association (APA). He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Marcus. He is survived by his son, Mitch Marcus of Las Vegas; daughter, Tamara (Stan) Stahl of Las Vegas; brother, Donald (Judy) Marcus of Brooklyn; and four grandchildren, Amanda, Stascha, Joshua and David. Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 22, at King Davis Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Donations may be made to Jewish National Fund.
