Nenita Cloma Bongoyan Daquipa passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 7, 2025.
Born and raised in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines, Nenita came to the United States as part of the “Brain Drain” in the wake of the 1965 Immigration Act. She and her husband Antonio eventually settled in the Sacramento area suburbs, where they spent four decades raising a family, running a private medical practice, and being active in their local Catholic Church and the Lions Club International.
Nenita had a long career as a doctor, and also achieved the rank of Colonel in the United States Air Force.
She was the mother of three, and grandmother of three.
A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, at Holy Spirit Church in Las Vegas.
