Onorio Torti

Onorio Torti of Henderson, NV passed away on Monday, January 27th, 2025, at the age of 88. After battling Alzheimer’s Disease for over a decade, he died peacefully surrounded by his beloved wife, Angela, and his family.

Onorio will be most remembered for his peaceful and calm presence and his love and generosity toward his family and many friends who were considered as extensions of family.

Onorio was born on March 10th, 1936, in Paris, France the third son of Felice and Arcangela Torti. He grew up in Zagarino, near Casalvieri, Italy. He emigrated to the United States in 1953, living in Queens-Astoria, New York. After marrying Angela, he moved to Southern California in 1962. There they would raise their five children while running a successful garment manufacturing business for 36 years. He and Angela retired and moved to Henderson, NV in 2007.

A lover of life, Onorio had many hobbies, including fishing, bowling, and listening to Italian opera music. His greatest enjoyment was in telling stories at countless family gatherings.

Onorio is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Angela, and their children: Joseph (Kimberley), Anna (John), Felix (Marisa), Diana, and Lisa (Eric). He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Lee, and his sister, Maria
