It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Pablito Herrera, who peacefully left us on January 14, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in the Philippines on August 6, 1946, he migrated to the United States in 1978, settling in San Pedro and then permanently residing in Las Vegas where he spent the remainder of his life—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Dad was a beacon of kindness, care, and unwavering loyalty. He was married to his wife Luming for 60 years, a testament to his deep commitment to family and love. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and shared memories. Pablito was a father to seven children and a proud grandfather. He believed that family was everything, and his lessons in perseverance through challenges, respect, and the value of family will continue to guide his loved ones for generations to come. A man of simple pleasures, Pablito enjoyed nurturing his garden, especially planting vegetables he would tend to with great care. He took pride in fixing things around the house, always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge. He had a special liking for the Buffalo slot machines and could often be found enjoying a bit of luck at the casino. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and the importance of family. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Pablito leaves behind his wife Luming, his children; Gerry, Nancy, Elvie, May, Marilou, and Pablito Jr., his grandchildren, and countless extended family and friends. We will miss him dearly, but we find comfort in knowing that his spirit and teachings will continue to guide us as we honor his memory.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will forever be in our hearts.
