Patrick Michael Rosselló , at 70, lost his 9 year battle with mesothelioma on June 29th, 2022. It is the family’s hope that he is at peace and has already made his way to the heavens dance floor. Patrick was survived by his wife, Miriam, his siblings Sandra, William and Randolph, his children Justin and Rebecca, his grandchildren Ana, Nicholas, Vivian and Saylor, his children-in-law Monica and Mathew, his step children Felipe and Danusa, his stepchildren-in-law Juliana and Giovani and finally his step granddaughter Catarina
Patrick grew up in Baltimore and attended Dulaney High School, The George Washington University for Undergraduate, and the University of Baltimore for his MBA. He taught at the Loyola University School of Business, own a consulting firm, hosted a radio show for small business owners in D.C., was involved with the small business associations in Baltimore, MD, coached a generation of soccer players and volunteered at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. In 1984, he participated as a volunteer of the XXIII Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Along the way he amassed a knowledge of historic and political facts, that rivals that of the Encyclopedia Brittanica!
Patrick’s dance card was always full and was known to close s swing dance at 2am with his beloved Miriam and could be found with his friends at a local diner for a full breakfast, dinner or both. In addition to the dancing, Patrick was an avid bike rider, rides that could last entire weekends or weeks. He loved food and to try a new recipe in his kitchen, full of people and music of all sorts resulting in spontaneous dance fests in the living room…these things filled his life. He celebrated life and protested cancer-surgery scars with golden tans from Florida.
Patrick’s Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 EST on July 16th at St Pius X, 6428 York Rd, Baltimore, MD 21212. A reception for friends and family will follow at his residence.
Patrick’s courage to live each day like it could be your last and to dance like no one is watching are just a few of the things we take with us. For those of you who knew him, please lift a glass to him, explore a new recipe, dance, sing and remember to live.
