Paul M Blomstrom

Paul was born in Winner, South Dakota as the eldest son of Joe and Lori Blomstrom. Before he was a year old, they relocated to Rapid City, South Dakota. Paul spent his youth and young adult life there and forged many lifelong friendships.

Paul was a proud graduate of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2003. A dedicated and loyal employee, he began his career in broadcast engineering with PSSI Global Services in 2006. Paul traveled the world to bring live television to many, and it brought him true happiness to do so.

Paul found his soul mate and life partner in Bridgette Stensland, and they married in 2012. Their family grew when they welcomed their first son, Pierce, in 2013 and later their second son, Reese, in 2016.

Paul had many hobbies, notably sim racing, traveling, camping, and passing on his love of movies to his sons. Paul’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered, and his smile could light up a room. He will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Paul’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to know him.

Paul is survived by his wife, Bridgette, his children Pierce and Reese, his parents Joe and Lori, brothers Brian and Blake (Lindsay), along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

A funeral service will be held on July 26th, 2024 at 2:30 pm at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Rapid City, SD. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Yesterday’s Ballroom in the hotel Alex Johnson.

A second Celebration of Life will be held on August 10th, 2024 at 4:00 pm in Las Vegas, NV at Lake Memorials, the Swan Garden Room, Suite 111.
