Pauline M. Smith, "Miss Pauline", passed away with the love of her family around her on Saturday March 4, 2017. Born in England to Arthur and Madge, Pauline became a dressmaker/seamstress where her love of sewing began. She immigrated to America in 1976 with her husband Rob {who she joined in Heaven} and her two daughters. An incredibly loving, playful and nurturing Mom and Grandma, Pauline also enriched the lives of so many children through her years as Director of St Viators After School Program, her joyous summers of "tot camp", and as a teacher’s aide at Seton Academy. A sun worshiper, Pauline enjoyed getting to the beach any chance she got! To say she liked to knit would be an understatement; she was the fastest knitter any one ever saw. "Just one more row", she would say. She continued her love of sewing, knitting, cross stitch, and quilting producing countless treasures for friends and family. Born a triplet herself, weighing only 2lbs 2ozs, she had a special place in her heart for preemies and donated many hats, blankets and booties just their size. A 20 year resident of Sun City Pauline formed many treasured friendships through the sewing club, yoga classes and the various activities and parties. A member of the British Club she shared her love of all PBS British programs especially her intrigue of murder mysteries. A Cancer SURVIVOR Pauline fought true tough Brit style with the love, support and care from our "friends for life" at CCCN. Pauline was a beautiful lady inside and out full of love and laughs, she will be greatly missed by all. Pauline is survived by her brother Raymond {Brenda}, Nephew Andrew, Daughter Wendy, her husband William, Daughters Lindsey {Sean} and Sara, Daughter Lynsey, Grandson, and the light of her life, Kristopher, and her sidekick, beautiful Charlee. A small gathering to celebrate her life will take place in the distant future, please contact the family for details. Paulines wishes were to be cremated and ashes spread privately by family. In lieu of flowers, if you would like to offer a kind gesture, a donation to Nathan Adelson Hospice, PBS or a charity of your choice. Enjoy Heaven Mommy- We hope you are on the beach with a cup of tea and of course a bit of knitting!!
