

Peter Bolognese, AKA “Pete Bella”, 77, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away December 5, 2013. He was born in New York City, New York to Joseph and Constance Bolognese on March 1, 1936. Pete worked in the Casino Showroom in Las Vegas as head Maître D’ for over 40 years starting with The Landmark Hotel, The MGM, and Bally’s. Prior to that, he worked as a Restaurant Manager at Sorrentino’s in Tuluca Lake, California. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Constance Bolognese, and his sister Carol Bella Qureshi. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Karen Bolognese; son Peter Bolognese; and brothers Frank Bella, Joe Bella; and Jimmy Bolognese; his nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Pete leaves behind a wonderful legacy, and will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at King David Memorial Chapel (located behind Palm Eastern Mortuary), 7600 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 13, at 11:00am at St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89121. A committal will follow at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S.
