Phyllis Cohen, 86, a retired bookkeeper, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. She was born on March 18, 1928, to Louis and Eva Spitzberg in Boston, MA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Cohen. Phyllis is survived by her three sons, Lewis (Norma) of Basking Ridge, NJ, Howard of Kingwood, TX, and David (Susie) of Keller, TX; 12 grandchildren, Andrew (Sharon), Daniel, Sabrina (Frank), Samantha (Brian), Benjamin (Kristin), Isaac (Amanda), Michael, Candace , Kenny, Mark, Kimberly and Cameron; and 10 1/2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:40am, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
