

Glen was born in Burlingame, California, to Robert and Helen Woods. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karla, and survived by his current wife, Luz; by his sons, Kyle and Kent; and his daughters, Kimberly, Ashley, Angie, and Lacey.
Glen studied accounting at Brigham Young University, where he received his bachelor’s degree with Highest Honors in 1981. He also received his master’s degree with emphasis in taxation in 1981, graduating With Distinction. He successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination that same year, receiving the Elijah Watts Sells award, given annually for the 100 highest scores nationwide, and received the highest score in the state.
During his career, Glen was associated with a nationally recognized law firm and also served as in-house counsel to a publicly traded company. He became a member of the Utah State Bar in 1981, the Nevada State Bar in 1990, and the Arizona Bar in 2001. In 1995, he formed the law firm currently known as Woods Erickson & Whitaker LLP and worked there until his death.
Glen was a staggeringly brilliant lawyer and a devoted fan of the San Francisco Giants. He was a great man who will be missed by all lucky enough to have known him.
A viewing will be held on April 10 from 4-8 PM at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on April 11, at 1500 Amador Lane, Henderson, NV 89012. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the San Francisco Giants Foundation.
