There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and miss my best friend.  You will always be “My Captain”.  Rest in peace my very good and best friend.

This was the last time I saw Rafael I met him many many years ago as a kid , my dad played for his soccer team and quickly he became a family friend and ALWAYS helped us out . Much love to his kids and family I wish we got to say goodbye

My captain, my captain; there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. The start of my day begins with our usual 8 AM phone call to one another where we talked about life politics, and so much more. It has been difficult for me on this one year anniversary to keep going forward without my best friend always there for me as well as I am there for him. I do go forward each day thinking that you are with me and looking at the very touching birthday card. You sent me many years ago, but which I kept and read to you before you passed  Away in my very brief but much appreciated phone call to you . I know you are in heaven, since you always were a very good man and always took care of everyone before yourself, including me not just with my medical issues, but struggling to raise two babies on my own rest in peace my captain.

I'm sorry to hear about Rafael's passing.   He was a great man.   He helped me and my family a lot.  Truly he was a caring and wonderful person. 

So sorry to learn of the loss of such a wonderful doctor. He had a great spirit and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.   David Malitz

My condolences to the family of Dr. Rafael Mirchou (from my father and I). He was an amazing human being with a wonderful soul. He treated everyone equally. He was friends with my father for a long time, I have known him since I was a kid and he has been my doctor since I turned 17. He diagnosed my Illness and he was there every step of the way until now. He always knew how to give me hope even when I lost all hope. He was always smiling and happy. He cared about his patients. He was a phenomenal doctor. He will be missed and be forever in our hearts. May he rest in peace. 

My Captain, My Captain.  I loved you and will surely miss you.  We were best of friends and there for one another over the many years. You talked. I listened. I talked. You listened. I will always remember and be thankful for you getting me through the very hardest of times being a single parent calling me “The Best Mommy and Daddy”.  You would encourage me to continue and keep going when I felt overwhelmed with it all and wondering if my children would ever even remember all I was doing for them and all the sacrifices I was making for them. You reassured me that they would .   You were so right now that they are almost grown. They never forgot and remembered everything. I will miss you and always will remember all of your kindnesses and conversations.   You called me “Your Honor” and I called you “My Captain”.  I will never have such a friendship again.  Rest in Peace and know you are always in my heart.  Your Honor.

I had the honor of having Dr. MIRCHOU as my doctor.  He was a wise, kind man, who took his practice seriously.  I am very sad to hear of his passing, and I pray that I will see him in Heaven.  Michael Root

So sorry fir your loss.  I've known Dr. Mirchou for at least 26 years. 
 He was always very kind hearted, loving and caring like no one else. 
He was Always willing to help and never refused to help when someone sick reached out to him.  He will be in my prayers for many years to come as I will always miss his friendly smile.

I lack words to express my grief over the passing of this phenomenal human. He touched many lives, saved many lives and was always so kind.
