Raul (Chuck) Nino On Wednesday morning, January 25, 2017, at the age of 92, Chuck Nino slipped quietly into the arms of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Celebrating his life are his children, Rudy, Aaron, Doreen, Chuck, John and Maria together with Sabrina, Nancy, Pat, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and his many nieces/ nephews and so many wonderful friends that he touched along the way. He was born to Mariano and Juanita Nino on August 19th, 1924 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He proudly served in the Army during WWII. He moved his family to Las Vegas in 1962 and began his employment with the Stardust Hotel and worked there until it closed its doors in 2006. He was a barber, musician, an all-around nice guy and you’d rarely find him not laughing and enjoying conversation with someone. He married his childhood sweet heart Dorothy Enriquez Nino in 1948. They were married for 64 years before the angels took her to Jesus in 2014. Visitation will be on Friday February 3, 2017, 4:00pm – 8:00pm. We will be celebrating his life on Saturday February 4th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Palm Mortuary 7600 S. Eastern ave.
