It was such a pleasure to know Raymond, and in these past couple of years, to see him almost every day. He was an encyclopedia when it came to food, anytime I had a question, I could count on Raymond to know the answer off the top of his head.

Raymond had such a colorful personality and always ready with a clever remark. One of my favorite sayings of his was, “I wouldn’t cross the street for it,” which I’ve happily added to my own bank of sayings.

In his final years, Raymond was always at the heart of every gathering. He truly lived a full and joyful life. One memory that perfectly sums him up is watching him, casually eating a lemon- rind and all, at the dinner table without batting an eye, just embracing the moment, as he always did.

He also became such a meaningful part of my boys’ early childhood, always holding them, watching them, or engaging with them in his own special way.

Raymond, you were a joy in my life and will never be forgotten. Until we meet again. 🤍

So happy he shared his love of skiing with us.  It has a been a great pastime that we now share with our children.  I always remember riding in the Saab and  listening to the Beatles!   Remember the time he got hurt skiing and couldn’t use the brake while driving us home and he had to use the emergency hand break???  Great man with a huge heart ❤️
