

Raymond H. Mursell passed away on June 1, 2014 in Las Vegas. With his passing, heaven became a little brighter and earth a little darker. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him, but especially by his wife Donna, who lost the love of her life. Ray was born October 19, 1943 in Swindon, England to Raymond and Margaret Mursell and was educated in Hampshire. He worked as a construction estimator for several years in England before moving to Trinidad-Tobago managing through completion the building of the Hall of Justice Building. He then relocated in 1985 to New York City where he lived for eleven years before settling down in Las Vegas. Here he enjoyed a very successful career in the construction industry as chief estimator for many prominent companies. Ray retired from the construction industry in 2011 and pursued his passion, writing. Ray published four novels and was in the process of completing his fifth. He is survived by his wife Donna, siblings, children and grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 5 pm at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery on June 11, 2014.
