Rhonda N. Davis

Rhonda Nichella Davis’ journey began on November 24, 1967 in Warren, Arkansas at Bradley County Memorial Hospital to the late Sally M. Childs Davis and Raymond J. Davis. She transitioned on February 1, 2020.

Rhonda loved the Lord. She was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jersey, Arkansas. She was a regular attendee at the Second Baptist Church in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rhonda was a long-time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since the age of 8-months old. Her parents moved from Jersey, Arkansas to Las Vegas to seek a better life for the family.

Rhonda graduated from Vocational Tech High School and attended Arizona State University where she majored in Business Administration; then continued taking classes at Clark County College of Southern Nevada. She started her career at the University Medical Center as a Business Office Clerk and progressed to Patient Accounting Manager during her 31 years of service.

Rhonda was a devoted mother to two wonderful young men Andre M. Carter and Dontae A. Carter. Her children were her life…she worked hard to ensure they didn’t want for anything.

Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling was one of the many things she enjoyed in life. Some of her most recent travels included San Francisco, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Turks and Cacaos, Hong Kong, Sydney Australia, and Fiji. She had many hobbies such as beading bracelets, crocheting, arts and crafts, and archery.

A visitation for Rhonda will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
