Richard A. Scott, 82 of Henderson passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at home on Tuesday October 21 with his daughters Leslie & Trudy with him. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia & was a lifelong star athlete accomplished in every sport. From a young age a passion for flying became his Career from his years in Service to our Country in the US Air Force as a Pilot during the Vietnam War until he Retired & became a Chief Corporate Pilot & flew for 27 years until his recent Retirement. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carole. He is survived by 4 children; Richard K, Trudy, Tammy & Leslie, 9 beautiful Grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren who all love, adore & will miss him greatly. Our Dad truly traveled each & every highway, sky way & really did it his way!
Viewing is Tuesday from 2-5 pm 10/28 at Palm Eastern Mortuary in the Chapel. The Funeral Service will be immediately following at 5:00 pm.
